about the instructor
“Growing up isn't easy, and today's girls are growing up in a digital world that often introduces adult pressures, unrealistic beauty expectations, and endless information long before they're ready for it.
My hope is to give girls and their parents a trusted place where they can learn, ask questions, and navigate these years with a little less confusion and a lot more confidence.
I became a Girl's Club™ Certified Teacher in 2026 because I wanted girls to learn about their changing bodies from trusted women…. not from an internet search
Thank you for being here and for believing that the way we raise our girls today helps shape the impact they will have tomorrow! Looking forward to hearing from you! ”🤗 - Ms.Jordan
each week we practice:

Female Anatomy is broken up into three different areas of the body.
Anatomy of the breast (milk duct, nipple, areola)
Anatomy of the female reproductive organs (eggs, ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, vagina)
Anatomy of the vulva (pubic mound, anus, clitoris, urethra, vaginal opening, inner and outer labia)
Basic male anatomy is taught, including 4 body parts
This information is presented in an age appropriate, educational manner to help girls understand their bodies, communicate clearly about their health with medical providers, and build confidence through accurate knowledge.
-
Your body is yours. You have the right to protect it, keep it safe, and speak your preferences about what feels safe and unsafe.
A safe touch vs. an unsafe touch
Teach that each girl has her own unique preferences, for example one person might be okay with hugs another may not.
How to use their voice when their boundary is crossed & finding an adult who can help when anything feels uncomfortable.
-
Our bodies are incredible, magnificent, and extraordinary. It’s important to nourish our mind and bodies during this time.
Girls will learn eight different physical changes their body will undergo during puberty and how to manage the changes in a healthy manner.
Reinforcing that every body develops on a different timeline & that when these changes occur they are healthy + normal!
-
Each series ends with a celebration!
The girls review everything they have learned, celebrate how far they have come, and end with a culminating complimenting themselves and others activity!
Girls receive a small backpack sized first period pack and compact mirror!
Girls may enjoy fun extras like face sparkles, a colorful clip in hair, and more! Parents may choose not to participate in these activities for their child. <3
Frequently Asked Questions
about the classes:
-
We love all kids and believe they all deserve a space to ask these questions.
For the subject matters we discuss (for example in a Girls Club class female anatomy is discussed) it is safest and only appropriate to have only females in the class. This often puts both parents and children at ease.
-
No. Boys and Men are amazing. These classes just focus on female development.
-
Absolutely! At Girls Club, we believe that while your body may be changing, you may still feel like a young girl, and that's perfectly okay and normal! Growing up doesn't mean giving up the things you love.
Our goal is to make this season of life magical and memorable through education and sisterhood, rather than stressful and confusing figuring it out alone!
-
No, girls in 5th grade and younger do not learn about tampons.
Only pads and liners. I do show disposable pads + cloth pads, as some kiddos (and adults) with sensory sensitivities prefer soft cloth ones.
The answers kids want are at their fingertips (technology)
It’s our responsibility to keep them safe & well, by teaching them before they type.

The Girls Club program consists of 5 classes, and we're happy to work with your schedule! There are several ways we can organize the sessions to fit your group's needs.
Scheduling Ideas:
-Five Weeks
One class per week (for example, every Thursday after school).
-One Week (preferred!)
A class each day after school for one week (or starting on a weekend)
These are just a couple examples! We want scheduling to be flexible so it never becomes a barrier to bringing this program to your girls. We'll work together to find a schedule that fits your group best! :)
